Kathy Elliott
I met Larry in 1976 when he joins the Fife police department. He was always spit and polished and I will never forget the inspections when I was a Reserve Officer. You would think you looked good but he would find something like scuffed shoes. Through the years our paths crossed and still he would have those spit shined boots and not a hair too long. He was a Marine through and through.
Larry was my shooting coach at the range and I almost shot him accidentally. Boy he can move fast when your gun is pointed at him. I think he forgave me. I learned to keep my gun down range after that. He also taught me how to power slide in a patrol car and keep my cool in a bar fight. I might have given him some of his first gray hairs.
Rest in peace my friend.
