I'm Jan, Bert's sister in law. What I remember fondly of Bert is how kind he was to people in the service industry! He was so polite to waitress' in particular, and he always called women "miss"!!! He was always kind to me. He always spoke nicely to me. Years ago, when he was in good health, he was always happy to help us tackle projects around the house, the biggest was the building of our fence. He often house sat for us and when we got home the place was cleaner than before we left it! I really can't believe he's gone. Rest in peace, Bert. Until we meet again, Your sister in law, Jan
