To Claudia, Lisa, Anne, Janis and Michelle, I send you my sincere and deepest condolences. I am so very sad to hear of the passing of David, a most wonderful man
and for me, father figure. Megan just called to inform me of this. I have so many fond memories of David, too numerous to list. I hope all of you find strength in these times and celebrate a long and wonderful life. He will be missed by many. I haven't played a round of golf since the last time I played a round with David. It just didn't seem right to golf without him. Again I am so very sorry for your loss. Peace be with all of you.

My dad, Albert James Shoemaker, worked for Pease and Sons the last 10 or so years of his career. He spoke very well of the company and always thought fondly of that time. In particular he thought very well of David Pease. My dad passed away in May, but on behalf of the Shoemaker Family I wanted to extend our condolences to you and your family.

Dear Claudia and family: I send you my deepest sympathy. My family and I were so sad to hear of David’s passing.. My memories go so many years. One of my fondest memories of our two families was the summer we spent on our boats in Roche Harbor. Remember how excited our kids were when John Wayne came in on his yacht? Later that night you, David, Bud and I were in the restaurant having dinner, when Mr. Wayne came in the front door. We were a little star struck too, that’s for sure. I know as you go through this difficult time, the Pease family will be your strength.
