Kent and I go way back to our High School Days in North Carolina. He and I were kindred spirits as we both loved sports, especially basketball where we both excelled. Our high school friends were very close and even though we did not see each other over the years, we remained close in heart and through Christmas Cards. It was such a joy to reconnect with Kent and Patricia at our 50th High School Reunion. Although Kent was a quiet soul, his spirit makes heaven an even greater place. God bless you Patricia. Kent was a blessed man when he married you. Much love and much sorrow in the loss of our Kent.

On the occasions we had meetings, I will always remember Kent as Southern Gentleman. He was always quick with the smile and I loved talking sports with him. North Carolina and Florida State Univ. blessed us with his presence in the Pacific Northwest for many years. Rest in peace friend.

Mr. Kent was a very special human being. He highlighted most of my days working and taking care of him. He had a lot of "one-liners" and with a look or a single word would send me laughing. When it was time to get ready to go or to just get ready for the day he would always say...( while looking at his watch) "in a few minutes"..or "Tomorrow" when he wasn't in the mood to do anything. We watched many shows together like "say yes to the dress" cooking shows like the "chew" or anything on channel 35. He would comment on the dresses if they looked good or not and the food if he would eat it or if it looked good to him. I will miss him dearly and every time before I left I would say " Okay Mr. Kent , I'm gone..He would say "Okay be good". I know he is okay and in the hands of our loving Father and King. I love you Mr. Kent.
