Kenneth Boettger's Obituary
Kenneth (Ken) J. Boettger, 55, of Ellensburg WA, died June 8, 2013.
He was born to James and Bonnie Boettger, Dec. 19, 1957 in Spokane WA. Ken graduated from Wilson High School in Tacoma and received a BS from the School of Forestry at WSU and a BS in Computer Sciences from Central Washington University.
Ken was the owner of various companies including Alpine WildSeed and was passionate about preserving outdoor landscapes through the use of native plants. He also was a web developer for many companies including Fortune 100 companies.
Ken was an active member of various native plant organizations and loved to hike and fish. He loved the mountains but also enjoyed the desert environments of eastern Washington.
Ken is survived by his Mother Bonnie of Tacoma, two brothers Dan of Okanogan WA and Rod of Tacoma WA. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday June 22, 2013 at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood WA
