I first met Kathy in 2007 at PSE. She welcomed me like I was family. She was PSE all the way, she attended PSE softball tournaments, planned many BBQ events for the Tacoma building, organized the blood drives and flu shots. She always made time for everyone and took care of the house she had built over the years within PSE. Every time I wear a PSE Customer Construction T-shirt I will remember her smile, her kind words and support she always gave to all of us she considered part of her family.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Welch and Gratzer families. Our sympathy over the loss of one so dear. With fond remembrances of Kathy; Cousins Pat and Gary Stainbrook
Kathy spent her love everywhere, as if it were a well with no bottom. Because it was. She loved her family so deeply. She loved her job. She spent her love on her boss and her coworkers, and I can't say we always deserved it.
She helped us at work. She helped us outside of work. I would have been so tired. I bet she was sometimes. Her light will never go out.
Kathy was the light on dark days. I remember how you could go to her for anything and would often just go and ask for a hug. She kept me together with those hugs.
Kathy was a legend at WNG/PSE. We are all so grateful we knew her and love her. Heaven got a special gift. Kathy I believe is our Angel now looking down and smiling on all of us. We will always remember Kathy such a sweet kind hearted mom to all and we will keep her alive in our hearts by remembering all the good times. We love you Kathy!
Your Mom was one of the coolest in all the land. She was the “boss” of WNG/Tacoma. Sure, Mildred Baker was in charge, but Kathy ran the joint🤣🤣🤣
In 1977, I called EVERY WEEK, asking if there were any openings. I think she was so sick of hearing from me, she hired me. I stated in the Installations Dept, and left 11years later to be a Mom. Your Mom was with me every step of the way❤️My heart goes out to those she left behind, as Heaven gained one of the coolest in all the land❤️

Someone so special will never be forgotten. Even if only for a moment, Kathy left a warm remembrance on all the many lives she touched across PSE and beyond. My heart goes out to her family, who will remain in my prayers -- and Kathy's loving, giving gaze from above!

I knew Kathy from work at Puget Sound Energy- there is no doubt she was the brightest light in a group. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Her kindness surely inspired many and she'll be very missed.
