We are sorry to hear of Kathryn's death. We shared many good times with Kathy and Nello at the auto dealer events as well as when we visited the Pizza Casa. Dave, Danny, Dale, Nello and your families. We have been coming to the Pizza Casa since it opened, as Sonny and David were best friends and of course Sonny loved the spaghetti and pizza. I even think they both would go there even tho it wasn't opened. Nello & Kathryn have been a part of our family for a long time. When my son was born and we started bringing him there Kathy always would bring out the crayons & color books for him. Then when he had his two children they also became patrons of Pizza Casa and Kathy would do the same for them. Kathy always made us feel like we were special when we came there. She was a very special Lady and and she will definitly be missed by everyone whose life she touched. She was a part of our Family for a long and she will be in our hearts forever.

What a nice obituary! I love that you mentioned how much family meant to Kathy. As a shirt tail relative, I enjoyed the many times that I ventured into the Pizza Casa and she and I would sit and talk about family. That meant a lot to me, seeing how she was it for the Attebery clan in Lakewood. I am not sure whether or not I can be at the service this afternoon,as I am still with students at 3:00. From 1959 to the early 80s "Kathy"
was more than a manager of a fine
restaurant to our family. She
demonstrated a sincere interest in
our progress over the years. She
welcomed our youngest son, John, from the time he was two months old in 1960 even if he did shriek for joy at the top of his lungs. In 1977 our daughter Kathy chose Pizza Casa to announce and celebrate her engagement to our son-in-law to be.
She had great memories of this place
in her formative years because of
your Kathy. We are certain these examples are typical for so many, many other families she hosted.
