I met Cat while working for Providence Hospital in the early 90's. I remember as if it were this exact moment. As I would get off work, I would be greeted by this beautiful sister, with a beautiful smile, beautiful heart and beautifully dressed. I'd be so tired from work,
until I see Cat, then I would all of a sudden become as if I didn't even know "tired" as I stand there talking with my dear sister. She was a breath of fresh air. I couldn't resist stopping at the desk, never notice how busy she was, cuz I just wanted to talk with her, it wasn't until much later that I had to get over "myself" and realize, Cat was at work. SMH. I finally seen that in between "answering the phone and doing all her job entails she would not miss a beat in talking with me, I had to realize it myself because she would never have said, "Girl, I gotta get back to work. I'll see you tomorrow." her multi tasking skills were on point. Always professional and dedicated to doing her best. It was coming upon the weekend and I asked for her number. We kept in touch, however with our busy lives we couldn't keep in touch as often as we liked to. We reconnected on Fb and when she'd travel to Anchorage. The last I connected with Cat was last year on Fb when she sent me a post. I was/am blessed to have talked with her as we shared a beautiful conversation that ended in, "Love you sis. Love you too." I thank God for my sister "being" in my life. I still feel a fresh breeze as I think of her. Bless God! I send my condolences to the family. May precious memories forever be thought about and seen as you continue on your journey. May the God who is able to comfort, comfort all. Much love, peace and healing be with each of you. Smiling....cuz I can still see her smile and hear her laugh as I think about her. I bless God for Kathleen. The Lord be with you all.
