Eternally Grateful
Karen, who I am so thankful to have known and will always remain close within my heart and my mind was a truly exceptional woman. She was a truly exceptional human being.
She possessed an abundance of beauty, intelligence, compassion and love. She was energetic, fearless and funny. Sassy---supportive---sentimental. Her work ethic was second to none. Her business skill set, the depth of her professional knowledge and the level of her integrity and concern for her individual clients were legendary. Her work resulted in a multitude of persons, of families, being able to achieve the American Dream of home ownership. The lucky customers whom Karen worked with did not have to be concerned of of sketchy practices---she was dedicated to serving the customer and not the profit margin of the bank or questionable monetary incentives to her.
Karen's love and commitment to her family was only surpassed by her love and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout her life Karen had the knowledge, the faith and the assurance that God was always within her, that God was always walking by her side. She knew that in troubled times God would be there to afford her the refuge, provide the guidance and answers. He would be the Rock for her to lean upon. These same qualities of assurance, compassion and guidance are the very same elements she provided for her family. Karen's compassion, concern and limitless love were never denied but always given without reserve and in tribute to the blessings bestowed upon her from the Lord above.
The love she had for her pets (both feline and canine) and the joy she had in the knowledge that a day would come where she and her beloved companions on this earth would one day run, jump and play by her side...absent of the infirmities which ultimate impact both human and beast in this temporary existence. She longed for the time when she would be called to walk through the Gates of Heaven---a sense of peace, happiness and exhilaration comes to us when we realize that day arrived and she is finally rejoicing along with so many who were impatient for her arrival.
I would be remiss if I did not share and reaffirm the act of kindness, the significant sacrifice, the love and understanding, but most of all the depth of tolerance she showed towards my brother Ron. Ron was a very troubled soul. He was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and self-medication issues resultant of an abusive childhood and actions/injuries and experiences as a Combat Marine in Vietnam. Karen went above and beyond in her selfless compassion and tolerance for my brother while he finally was able to secure his deserved benefits. This act allowed our mother to live her final years of life with the knowledge that her eldest son would be OK.
For this (and so much more) I am Eternally Grateful to You Karen.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18
"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all---So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
