I have known and worked with Karen since she came to Washington Elementary. She was a wonderful teacher and did whatever was needed, that extra effort, to help her students and especially those her students with special needs. I admired her and loved teaming with her. My heart goes out to you all and I send my love and blessings.

Dear Hans and Family,
I have so many good memories of Karen. I will always remember our conversations in the office. We would chuckle and then carry on with the daily importance of her teaching and my office duties.
Her inspiration for teaching was beyond expectation. I just loved the kindergarten camp over the years. What an experience for those kids!
Talk about grade level expectations and love for children Karen did it all!
Many fun times at the TGIF's. Her quick witt and laughter will always be remembered.
