I miss Paula knowing she is not at her home in University Place. If she called me to talk it was usually around 11;00 pm at night - I knew when the Home phone rang it was Paula! She never wanted to talk in her cell phone nor rarely would she call me on mine. I would call her to ask a question or just call to see how she was and what she’s been doing. I love snd miss her very much
snd know she’s with Jesus being healthy and well Singing with the choir of angels in heaven.
Cindy I will keep in touch with you now and hope you will do the same to me. When I was in grade school I looked up to Paula as my big sister when she lived with our grandma in Garrison.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Paula. I also grew up in the "Hilltop of Tacoma" and saw her several times at school and at many other events in the neighborhood. May she rest in peace.

Paula and I are cousins, but also we were friends, when we were little girls. We only lived a couple blocks apart so we would walk to school together and at McCarver we were partners in our home economics class. Later in life we became friends again after not seeing each other for a few years I was living in Colorado and she was living in Bremerton but we ended up starting a dinner group which included a lot of friends, and they were friends to the end. I loved my cousin and we had many many laughs together which I will miss very much.

I grew up in Garrison, North Dakota and Paula came back to Garrison to live with her grandmother her junior and senior years of high school. Paula's grandmother had one of those old fashion wringer washing machines, Paula was used to an automatic washer and didn't think it was a good idea to wash all your clothes in the same water. When Paula would come back to Garrison for an all school reunion we would chum around together. Paula was a very kind, caring, compassionate person and saver too, one of the hayrides that she went on in Garrison, she saved a piece of straw and had it for many years.
