Joseph T. Fulda's Obituary
Joe was born April 25, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, and passed away April 14, 2004 in Tacoma. He is preceded in death by both parents, and 5 siblings. Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mycki; daughters: Denise (Larry) Riley, E. Anne (David) Nelson, Julie (Skip) Elliot; and son, Donald (Judy) Fulda.Joe joined the Air Force in 1950 and retired a Master Sergeant April 1, 1973. He lead a very active and full life. Joe served as Commissioner of P.C. Fire District #17. He was the editor of the Parkland-Spanaway Post, a very active community activist, and a published author and poet. Joe could be found at numerous community events. He was an AKC Judge and participated in the showing of his own dogs. He also worked with the 4-H clubs teaching proper dog care. Joe will be remembered and missed by the people he loved and touched. Memorial service will be held on April 22, 2004 at 12 noon in the Mt. View Valley Chapel, interment at Tahoma National Cemetery at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Joe.
