I was stunned to hear of Joe's death.We grew up on the same block in Longview.We shared alot of fun memories.Some of the best were celebrating my sisters birthday with a big costume party.her bday is near halloween.we always had such fun on the scavenger hunts.Joe fit in with our family and was counted as one the kids!!I last spoke to Joe when he was living in Longview.

Julie and I were so sorry to hear of Joe's passing.
We will always remember the laughs we had around the campfire at Mayfield Lake.
Some pretty funny stories and maybe a few lies were told at those fires.

I have so many memories of Joe and to share my best would be forever, as nearly each encounter was a memory. In each of those memories there was a ton laughter and even more love. For me, that was what Joe was about. I forever cherish everything Joe taught me about life and the memories I was able to make.

I am totally shocked at the news of Joe's passing. After many years of absence or lost connections, about two weeks ago, through the internet, I managed to locate Joe in Tacoma. Joe, or Joey as he preferred to be called, and myself worked together at the Longview Fibre Co. in Longview, Wa. We became good friends and shared many good times together.
As a funeral director, Joe was even instrumental in my own pre-planning of funeral arrangements.
Joey and I just days ago had planned a reunion of friendship in Tacoma. Today as I read the news of his passing, I am truly at a lose for words.
I am comforted by the words in the book of Isaiah, 41:10; So do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I also pray that these words bring some comfort to your family Joey.
Joey's and my last conversations on-line just days ago will add to many cherished memories for me.
You are missed Joey.
