Johnny Louis McDaneld's Obituary
Johnny Louis McDaneld, born May 24, 1934, passed away in his home in Puyallup, on November 10, 2018.
After John joined the Army, (1953-1956) he did a tour in Germany and was later discharged as a Battalion Communications Sergeant.
He worked for PSNS, Bremerton Electronics Shop and SUPSHIP, (Supervisor of Shipbuilding) in Seattle and NSMSES, (Naval Ships Missile Systems Engineering Systems). John ultimately retired from the Department of Defense in 1988 after 36 years of faithful service.
From 1998-199, John and his wife, Patsy, served a mission in Salt Lake City, Utah for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
John also served his church by becoming involved with Cub & Boy Scouts. He spent over thirty years as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster and retired as a Scout Committee Chairman.
John is survived by his dear wife, Patsy, sons John Jr., (Carrie), Paul (Renee), daughter, Carrie (Dan), five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two siblings, Rose and Richard.
