My favorite memories of Bro. McDaneld ALWAYS involve his love of music! He would play the harmonica for the Pioneer Day celebrations. He heard the pipe chimes Bruce had made for me when we lived in Louisiana and he immediately made himself a set -- with a wonderful stand for them -- then he made me a stand, too! He came out to my preschool MANY times and shared his interesting musical instruments with the children. Bro. McDaneld loved children and was the ultimate GRANDPA! Heaven has gained a feisty and mischievous addition!! He is loved! He will be missed!

I have many wonderful memories of Johnny, A man of many talents - Bell ringer who brought his own bells, A craft man who shared his talents with many people who display his JESUS signs in there homes, a faithful councilor in the Bishopric where we spent many hours on our knees, and a friend you could always count on!
