Judy,
I was so sad and sorry to hear of John's passing. I have MANY great memories of the times spent with you and John. Our seemingly every weekend treks to your Puyallup home: sitting in the hot tub, playing with John's Lab, J.P. and I remember the times I didn't tag along with my parents, I just called consisntantly (wasn't it 848-5453?)I remember when we all stayed in Pt. Townsend in those big houses at Ft. Warden, hard to believe that was probably 25 years ago! More recently, John and you so graciously welcomed my family to your home on the 4th's of July. I was dissappointed John wasn't with you when I saw you at my parents a few weeks ago, I had thought he was coming too. He will be missed so much Judy. To Johns Family,
I was so sorry to see of John's death. He was my very friendly tall vanilla extra hot latte customer and as I recall I served him on his way out to get a Christmas tree last week. John was a great friend! He taught me so much; how to play golf gracefully, even though he said I was a "Herky Jerky" swinger. From then on I was always called "Herc" or Herc Lee" or "HL" for short. He taught me how to hug and how to care about people. I will never forget John... he will live in my heart forever; especially when I see a Black Lab or a fabulous garden. I can still hear him telling me to "Herc Off'" Or "Herc Up". I will save all of my pizza crusts for you John! I love you!!! I wish I had said that in person....but I think you knew.
