I met John way back .we were about 11 - 12 years old when we met . We lived on the same street . As did many of our life long friends . I could tell you stories good & bad , but real ! Yeah it had been a while since we had talked but he knew & I knew we were just a phone call or text away . Rest now you old sob, you know it's said with love . See ya on the other side ! John was a great guy. He knew how to make people smile and laugh when having a bad day. He was one tough guy and someone you could always turn to for advice. Rest in peace john you will be missed dearly
I am one of John's last living cousins on his mother's side. I just got a call saying John had passed. So sorry I didn't get to talk to him before he left us.

John was one of my later in life friends, the kind you make after you've learned the true measure of real friendship, the kind of friend who you can comfortably be yourself with, your whole self.. the good, bad and the ugly, the kind you won't have many of, no matter how long you live....I will miss you my friend you where a rare find in this world of increasingly shallow myopic souls.
