Mr. B and I go way way back since I was born. He saw me as a baby before my father did in a hospital on the military base in Sendai, Japan where I was born. My father was in the field at the time and Mr. B and him were best friends. Since that time I have many memories because Mr. B and I were very close. Many don't know but I asked him to be the Godfather of my kids. Mr. B was a special man whose personality captured anyone or group of people around him. He was full of love and laughter all the time, even if he didn't feel well. I remember him getting bags of candy and passing them out to kids in the neighborhood like Santa Claus. They would all run up and gather around him. He always loved playing lotto and games in the casino. When video games came out you couldn't get him to stop playing. We went fishing, clam digging and hung out on many occasions. He would always give thanks to "the good man upstairs" for the blessings in his life. He had such a strong and exhuberant spirit that I actually thought he would outlive my father and uncle who are about 10 years younger and I told each of them this. However, it was his time to meet God and his angels and experience heaven which I'm sure is indescribable. There is a book written by Marietta Davis in 1848 who was unconcious for nine days. She wasn't in a coma and the doctors could not diagnose her condition. Nine days later when Marietta regained consciousness, she indicated that while in heaven, she was told to describe her expereince when she returned to earth. Marietta felt that her experience was indescribable and beyond human words but she did the best she could. Her experience was truly amazing and you can get the book on Amazon if you are interested. It's called "Caught Up into Heaven." One thing I know for sure is that Mr. B, as much as he loves his family and others, does not want to return here because of what he is experiencing right now. I will miss him very much but the times we shared together will always be in my memories and for that I am thankful until I see him again.##imported-begin##Dr. Walter Trotter##imported-end##
