Joe E. Webb Jr.'s Obituary
Joe E. Webb Jr., born on March 29, 1952, passed away peacefully at the age of 72. A
devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Joe's life was marked by dedication to his
family, his country, and his community.
Joe proudly served 25 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1996 with honor and
distinction as a Senior Master Sargent. Following his military service, he continued to serve the nation in various contracting positions before establishing a lasting legacy at the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA), where he was widely known for his dedication and
commitment.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ertha Webb; his three children, Tonya Webb, Cassandra
McElvine, and Nicholas Webb; and his siblings, Ira Webb, Della Thomas, and Helen Webb.
Joe also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Isabella Webb, his brothers Bobby Webb,
Billy Webb, and Robert Webb, and his sisters Josephine "Joyce" Webb, Francis “ Kate”
Saffore, and Patricia "Penny" Webb.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park| 4100 Steilacoom
Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 on February 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are
invited to gather and honor the remarkable life Joe led.
