So ---
Where to start...
I cannot remember not knowing Joanna and the whole Massey Family. Growing up our families went on many joint camping adventures together. Always having fun. I can remember being over to their place on New Year's Eve several times, too. I even remember the house they lived at over off of South 12th Street and Monroe or Mason, before they moved to the house off of Narrows View Drive. Joanna had a great sense of humor and one of the BEST laughs ever!!! She and I always loved looking forward to the Indy 500 every year --- even when they delayed the broadcast to the West Coast. Joanna always made sure she sent me a Christmas Card every year without fail! I I I so appreciated it and looked for her handwriting on the envelope. She had SO much Love for her Family and Friends. Her Love, Laughter, and Loyalty will live on in our hearts. I am so happy to have had her in my life growing up and in my children's lives growing up, too. It always puts a smile on my face and a happy in my heart when I think of her. With Love,

I was one of Joanna's daughter in-laws, I have many wonderful memories of her, one is when I was to be married to her son Dale I remember her going all out to make it a wonderful day for me. She bought all the flower arrangement stuff and my bouquet arrangement and made everything herself with the help of the other daughter in-laws. She also bought my dress and made my Vail. She made the food for the reception. And was a big part of the cleaning up from the reception. I will never forget the big heart she had. I also remember the birthday partys she had for everyone. She knew one of my favorite dishes was turkey and dumplings and my birthday is a few days after Christmas so guess what I got for my birthday dinner?, Yep turkey and dumplings. I just remember her having the biggest heart one could have. I will always have those memories and many more to look back on. May God be with her family in this time of grief.
