JoAnn Gayle Taylor's Obituary
On 03/17/17, JoAnn G Taylor passed away with her family in attendance at Tacoma General Hospital. JoAnn was born 12/15/51 to Harry and Beulah Pedersen in Jamestown, N.D. She was raised in Valley City, N.D. She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Donna McCleary of Oregon. She is survived by two brothers of North Dakota, Dean Pedersen and David Pedersen. She was loved by far too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews to name.
She married Donald R Taylor in 1973 and immediately became a mom to her three step children Curtis Taylor, Bonnie Taylor and Paul Taylor. They loved her like a second mom and she loved them as her own.
Following the marriage, JoAnn went to work in the insurance business with Don and was manager of his office for over 35 years. She had many friends and clients who will miss her caring and professionalism.
What we are already missing is her capacity for unconditional love and caring for those around her. She passed away on her step daughters 50th birthday. Her stepdaughter’s comment of “I will be honored to share the date with her” says more about Jo and the love she gave than anything I can write.
