I shall miss my dear daddy so much. He went much too young. He always called me his darling daughter and made me feel so special by loving me unconditionally no matter what. He was a wonderful father--kind, loving, generous, hard working, funny, faithful, loyal, athletic, and honest. He loved his all his family treating everyone fairly regardless of how folks came to be connected. He was generous with his love and his time. He was a fantastic grandpa. I am so grateful at the good memories both he and Arlene gave to Blake and Cole. Dad and I shared a love for photography and scrapbooking, hiking, gardening, music, reading, and, most of all, a fierce love for family and friends past and present. He left behind very little property, choosing instead to leave a legacy of riches in terms of the values and ethics and beliefs--the greatest gifts of all. This man--my darling dad--was a treasure and I am proud to be his daughter. I'll miss you dad. I have your beautiful handcrafted boxes for my treasures, and your handcarved walking sticks to guide me along my journey. And whenever I eat beans and weenies, or flapjacks and fried spuds, I'll think of you!##imported-begin##Kay Cooke##imported-end##
