Jesse Norwood Mobley's Obituary
Born in 1924 in Boydville, GA. He joined the Navy in 1942. Where he spent 4 years, then joined the Army where he spent 22 years. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. After retiring in 1969 he went to work for Local 26, Plumbers/Steamfitters, where he worked for 13 years. He was a member of the Masons and the Elks. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of 51 yrs. Also survived by 2 sons, John (Karen) and grandchildren of Santa Clara, CA. Rick (Rhonda) and grandchildren of Tacoma area. He attended Life Center Church in Tacoma. His love for God, his family and his country were his priorities. Graveside services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. Thurs., May 22 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
