Dear brother, I will miss talking to you.Your Sis##imported-begin##Dorothy##imported-end##
Dad Mobley, you made it easy for me to love you and to call you Dad. You always considered me your daughter, and that is how you treated me - you loved me and accepted me from the start.
There was almost always laughing, joking, and teasing going on when we were in the same room or on the phone. You relished teasing me and I enjoyed the fun of teasing you back. It was a joy to watch you get to know our children, Jason and Sarah. You were often right down on the floor, or even under the table, playing with them. I remember how frequently , after the children had gone to bed, you, Mom, John, and I spent the evening talking and playing cards. It is hard to realize those times have ended for now. The adjustment without you will be painful. Heaven will be all the sweeter with you there. We will all be together with no parting ever.
I love you Dad, from your "daughter" Karen.##imported-begin##Karen Mobley##imported-end##
Jesse was a great father-in-law to our daughter, Karen, who married his son Lar (John) seventeen years ago. We met Jesse for the first time when they were engaged, and we've enjoyed our relationship with him and Margot ever since.
We had two very special things we loved sharing with Margot and Jesse. We both adored our "common" grandchildren, Jason (14) and Sarah (9). Our other special sharing topic was our faith in Jesus Christ. Through all Jesse's suffering we admired how his faith was not shaken. Together Margot and Jesse trusted God through many very difficulty days and nights. We will miss Jesse and his delightful southern drawl. Our friendship with Margot will continue and we will enjoy many memories of Jesse with her.##imported-begin##Joyce and Kurt Graf##imported-end##
I knew a man who loved the Lord all his life, even when he was fighting in combat.
I remember not the sad times but the happy times with my Grandpa. I remember when he walked on the beach with me. Could I not forget the times when I was just a little kid and he pushed me on the swing? I remember last summer when I saw him it felt so good to see my Grandpa for the last time. I couldn't forget that good-bye hug that he gave me when we left.
This is a sad time for everybody but we got to keep going. We have to say that Grandpa is in heaven with all of his friends from the army that he fought with. I remember in church that we're talking about Jesus and when they said this it made me think of my Grandpa. It said he was a faithful servant to God and God will love him back. We also have to think that Grandpa can now visit all the people from 9/11/01.
As a conclusion I want to say that this story came from my heart, it's my own words from my soul. My Grandpa died a hero and that to me is something special. Also when he passed away yesterday he knew he is going to a better place with no suffering. One more thing is I think the Lord was building a house for Grandpa and when he was finished building the house he would call him, and I felt that the house was finished yesterday and the Lord called him in.
One more thing I want to say is that I will miss him always, but I have to continue my life. Grandpa, your grandson salutes you.
You were the best.
Forever I will remember you.
Your soldiers salute you.

My Grandpa was a nice man. He was a funny man. Oh yes, don't forget the time that my Grandpa took me to the beach and we collected shells together. But now he is in a better place where he is not suffering anymore. "Heaven" it is called where people go. Grandpa was in World War II. He fought for America U.S.A. He was a sweet man. I love you Grandpa up in Heaven.
He was nice to me. We are sad but we have to go on with our lives.
You were special to me every time I saw you in Washington. You are in my heart always. We are proud that you fought for us. You were tired in the wars (World War II, Korea, and Vietnam) but no way did you stop. You gave me my first Eskimo kiss. I loved it. I can remember the time you gave me a piece of food and it dropped on the bed and I laughed. You gave me a big beach ball and took me to the beach and you watched me play with my beach ball.
Now Grandpa is with the people who died September 11, 2001, and the people who died in the wars. When I go to heaven, I will see him. I will be happy to see my Grandpa.

Dad:
I remember how you wore with pride the emblem from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Their motto: "ESSAYONS" which means, "Let us try."
I learned from you, "To try." Thank you for teaching me this valuable lesson.

Jesse was a wonderful father and grandfather! I will always remember his smiling face when he played with the little ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you Margaret. I know you will miss him terribly but we all know he is in a better place and we will all meet again.
My love to you.

Dear DAD,I know you are in a better place than this world could ever provide. Your immeasurable suffering is now over. You are now in a place with many mansions. Jesus said,John14:2,In my Father's house are many rooms;if it were not so,I would have told you.I am going there to prepare a place for you.3.And if I go and prepare a place,I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. I love you dad, your son, Rick.##imported-begin##Rick Mobley##imported-end##
