Jerry Dale Taylor's Obituary
Jerry Dale Taylor of DuPont, Washington passed away on August 14, 2004 at 8:30am. Jerry was born in Billings, Montana on May 16, 1963, he moved to DuPont with his mother Evelyn and brother Dennis in 1966, and stayed there his whole life.Jerry was the youngest of five siblings and is survived by Bonnie (Bill) Lockett of Billings, Montana, Donna (Richard) Gonzalez of Hardin, Montana, Jim Taylor of Everett, Washington, and Dennis (Kathy) Taylor of Olympia, Washington. Jerry was preceded in death by mother Evelyn Taylor of Dupont, and father Marvin Taylor of Hardin. Jerry was uncle to 9 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews.Jerry worked hard every day of his life, and is highly respected by both his family and co-workers for this. Whether on the job, working on cars, building houses, or anything that needed to be done, Jerry was there and was instrumental in getting things done. Jerry had been working at Mutual Materials for many years and will not be forgotten there. We will always remember him for how mechanically inclined he was.Remembered for having a genuinely kind heart, Jerry spent his last living moments with his beloved Connie of Kent, Washington, and lifelong friend Jeff (Donavan) of Yelm, Washington. Jeff and his wife Theresa who were both avid dart players around the Tacoma spent many evenings with Jerry; together the trio had much success in many tournaments. We will also remember Jerry not only by the enormous grin on his face and the sparkle in his eye that Connie brought, but also how truly happy he was spending time with her.Jerry we all miss you and you will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.Viewing will be Thursday, August 19, from 2-9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9am, Saturday, August 21, 2004, in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
