Next week will be your birthday celebration of 74 yrs. You will not be here to celebrate, so I will take someone to lunch who seldom gets out. I so miss our birthday lunches and I think this will help me to celebrate you! I only wish you could have had more time down here. Love you my friend!
I was a patient of Dr. Mayfield for many years & Jeanne always welcomed me with her beautiful smile. I enjoyed visiting with her. In 2010 I shared with Jeanne a medical issue I had. She would call me at home to see how I was doing. When she retired she sent me a card thanking me for our visits at the office!! I will always remember Jeanne, she was a very special person. I'm sure there is a special place in the heavens above for someone whom was so kind & thoughtful of others!
We, too had the pleasure of knowing Jeanne for many, many years. First with Bob (and his association with the automotive industry; plus Jeanne through Dr. Mayfield’s office; and in these later years when she was blessed with Frank.
I was also lucky enough to be a member of the “Three J’s” lunch group. We could always count on “El Presidente” to present to us in December a list of the dates and 12 places we would meet at for the next year. Then, the day before our lunch Jeanne would be on the phone reminding us. (It was hard to find someone as put together and organized as Jeanne was!)
She will be missed.
