Dear Lynn Allen, Dottie, Neal and Joey and family,
Jeanie was a wonderful friend and neighbor to me while I lived in Tacoma. She was the first older woman that ever talked to me as a true friend. She loved my smoked salmon. Our family loved her very much and my daughter grew up calling her Grandma Jeanie. In Sept. I went to her house and discovered she had moved. I found her in October and had a chance to talk to her. She told me about her illness and said Neal would make sure she was not in pain. I will remember her forever as she was very special to me. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Jeanie always had a wonderful gift for love and laughter. I remember when we all lived on Dorothea and she was teaching me to bake a cake....to this day I still can't stir the batter backwards! To all her family and friends our deepest condolences.

I've always wanted to grow up to be just like Aunt Jeannie. So, I did. Like Aunt Jeannie, I laugh much, always too loud, and pee my pants from that deep guttural laughter. My buttocks were of the same size....hahahahahaha, and I wanted to be loved by a wonderful family. I got what I wanted. I didn't know Jeanie for long. As her caregiver I felt she gave much more than I did. Her heart seemed like gold, no dross at all. She accepted me into her heart as though we had always known each other. It was a privilege and an honor to serve her and pray for her.
