Many years have passed since you were "Chicagoans" but I have fond memories of the friendship shared by our families. I was saddened to learn of Uncle Jimmy's passing and I want to express my condolences.

We remember fondly our trip to Assisi with you. We sure had fun exploring,and of course enjoying gelato!!! Those early morning breakfasts were crazy, but the food coffee and company was always good. You will be in our prayers. We are remembering Jim's smile and genuine concern for others.

I was not as privileged to know Jim as well as others since it was in a work environment, but we shared some good times. Jim had the respect of all he came in contact with. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting James, I have met almost all the rest of the family and Pat is my dearest forever friend and sister. I know what kind of a person she is, so in a way I know what kind of a person James was...good, kind, generous and knows how to pick the roses and ignore the thorns in life. I also am getting to know Robin and she is special too, I liked her right away, she seems like a chip off the old block. James has a great legacy through his life and his wonderful family.
