Dinner with grandsons
After I started dating Sheila, when I met her dad for the first time, he asked me, “How strong are you?” With confidence,” I said strong enough.” He said,” I bet my two fingers are stronger than your entire arm.” He told me to make a fist, and he held it with his two fingers. As I went to pull it back, he put more pressure, so I tried even harder, at which point he let go. I don’t know if it was a concussion or me feeling like I had a broken nose, but I can still recall his “Huh,” followed by a smirk and his deep laugh. I learned a valuable lesson that day. I made an older, wise man smile. You will be missed. Love you, Keith
