Jim graduated from UPS in our Sigma Nu Fraternity with me in 1969. I am so thankful for the work he has done on behalf of employees. He was loved by many and his life's work contributed to the growth and health of many. He will be missed.

I first knew Jim at Mason Junior High and I recall him in 8th grade, all 90 lbs, laying football. High school graduation we paired up at a party and he drove me home- sweet guy and I will miss him at the next Class of '58 party. Jim was a great co-worker and friends for many years, all the years he worked at WPEA. My daughters Miriah and Jennifer were very fond of him and he always asked about them and was glad to see them. Jim was one of the strongest advocates for worker and their rights. Personally, I learned so much from Jim about advocating for workers and he influenced me to continue in labor relations. I can't think of a better advocate for workers than you--- you did OUTSTANDING work for all the union's Members, over a long and distinguished career. Your retirement was well deserved and I know it was also fulfilling, with you and Judy, your travels, and just having time.
