Jack Sorge, 90, a Tacoma resident for most of his life, passed away on April 9, 2006. He was preceded in death in 2001 by his loving wife of 62 years, Leotus. Survivors include his daughter Shirley Eubanks and daughter and son-in- Read Obituary

Grandad was so kind and special, he was great.
He had a long life.
I got to see him lots in my life.
He was the greatest Great Grandad you could ever have.
It is so hard to let him go.
It is great he can be with Grandma now.
His smile would make you smile.
I won't forget him.

Camping trips. Playing cards. Rides on the tandem. Bike rides at EuRoSo
Playing pool in the basement. Drinking my pop a the "bar". Opening the "secret" door to find the special games. Watching the goldfish in their pond.
Grandma and Grandad making Christmas Eve so special. The perfect Christmas tree.
His smile, his sense of humor, and his laugh.
I am so lucky to have so many great memories.

Grandad was a very honorable and generous man. So dignified and full of integrity.
All those camping trips at EuRoSo...staying there with Grandma and getting to stay up late until Grandad got back from work. Playing cards...and fishing when I was younger.
I really admire Grandad and the person that he was. He was so amazing and so intelligent...he taught me so much about how to be a good person.

Jack was Director of Human Relations when I started at Hooker Nov 1952. Through the years we worked on numerous projects. Most membrable was the years in which we worked on preparing the monthly Supervisors dinner meetings.
