Mrs. Hall was such a kind and gracious person.. She was a giver, blessed with the gift of sharing. When she lived in Mississippi, she was my hair stylist. She did not only take care of my hair but fed me. Her husband was a farmer and Mrs. Hall shared everything Mr. Hall harvested.
I thank God that I was blessed to be one of Mrs.Hall's daughters. I loved Mrs. Hall and will miss her dearly.
Madear:
You were one the most elegant, intelligent, loving, and dedicated persons I have ever had the privilege to meet. I will never forget your wit and your caring for your family, which included me. I always felt your genuine concern, caring, and love for me and my family.
The memory of your going hat shopping in Huston during our ill fated trip to see the Bayou Classic (After Katrina) will always be etched in my mind. Eva had a very tough time with her knee and I know you were very tired with all the activity involved in the battle of the bands and the football game.
You didn't want to say you needed a break from it all and be alone for a while. So in your kind and understated way, when we took you to the mall, you said to Beth and me " I need to shop for a hat, why don't you two just meet me here in an hour." We were happy to oblige and give you your time to rest a bit. Now as you rest for eternity I hope you will join up with Beth and foment trouble together.
Lots of love.
Rudy
Madear, you will always be a cherished part of my life. Thank you for the many wonderful memories at your home in Miss. and when you moved here to Wa. The first time I ever fished was in your pond, with fuzzy caterpillars that you guys had to convince me to use. Well, the other day you must have been saying goodbye to me, because 1 fuzzy caterpillar made it’s way to my fishing spot. I thought of you and grandpa and all the yummy catfish we caught that summer, and of the family reunion where everyone made me feel so welcome, like part of the family, of your awesome eggs and melt in your mouth homemade biscuits. I always wanted chickens after that. Guess what? We have chickens and my kids will NOT eat store bought eggs. Anyway, Ididn’t catch any fish the other day but the people next me to caught a big catfish (big for this state) and they let me have it. You and grandpa were definitely there smiling and waving goodbye. You are both missed dearly, but I’m comforted knowing you’re together again, forever, in Heaven. Love Always, Rana
Mom, I miss you so much but I know you're with Dad. Kiss him for me. I love you both.
