Herman Brown's Obituary
Herman Â"ArtÂ" Brown, a forty year resident of Pierce County, passed away at the age of 74 on Monday, August 11, 2003, in Tacoma. He was born October 12, 1928, to Richard and Bernice Brown in Ojibwa, Wisconsin. Art retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church.He is survived by his wife, Betty, at home in Tacoma; step daughters, Cheryl Vaught, Laura Harvey, and Cindy Bienvenu; daughters, Toni Bergman, Kandi Reynolds, Terri Brown, Renae Farrington, Bonnie Potter, and Christi Lovejoy; brothers, Donald Brown of Wisconsin, and Duane and Lyle Brown of Minnesota; sisters, Olive Bjugstad of Wisconsin, Audrey Torp of Minnesota, and Lynette Engebretson of Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; and 2 great step grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 16, 2003, in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma. Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
