To my father: I should have lived by the words I told my children- Never burn your bridges with family because in the end, it may be too late to rebuild them. I sit with many regrets that I could did not make amends with my father or swallow my pride enough to let him into my life and ask for guidance with my troubles. I just hope that he can now find peace and forgive me for my past mistakes of not forging a better relationship with him.
