Helen E (Dunbar) Palmer
2/2/1955-7/19/2014
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She was born in Covina, CA and moved to Tacoma, WA in 1966. She graduated from Lincoln H.S. in 1973 and married her husband of 37 years, Thomas Palmer (deceased), that same year. She retired from Weyerhauser after 20 years and enjoyed crafting, stamping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and Tom spent many years enjoying car shows and spending time at their property in the mountains. Helen is survived by her sons Keith (Tereasa) and Mark (Sara), 4 grandchildren, her brothers Keith (Kim) Dunbar, Melvin (Dana, deceased) Cavanaugh, and Marvin (Linda) Cavanaugh and nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 29th from noon to 8pm, and memorial services will be in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel Wednesday, July 30th, at 1:00pm. Street rods encouraged, the family requests no flowers be sent.
