Dear Hulin Family,
I am sorry for you loss. I have lost my mother, but still have my father, John Godfrey.
I am Marilyn Marshall, a cousin of Frances Ella Godfrey who I think was the mother of Donald Hulin (She married George Mills, Vernon Hulin then Guirke). If so, Donald is my father's first cousin. I don't won't anything, I am just an avid family genealogist. I would be second cousins with any of Donald and Helen's children.
Frances was a nurse. She was born in Olden, Ontario, Canada. She is listed in the 1930 census with her second husband, Vernon Hulin. I have a picture of her that I could send to confirm that I have found a long lost line of our family. Please let me know if you know of Frances.

Dear Lanny and family,
I read of your mother's passing. I send my sympathies to you. My mother died 3 years ago. She had dementia for a dozen years before she died. Dad died 4 years ago. So many years have passed and there are so many changes to this area since we were children on Ft. Lewis. I live on Anderson Island now. Mountain View handled the details after their deaths. They were wonderful to me. Be at peace.

Dear Lance, Terry, JoAnn and Ron,
I just wanted to say I loved your mom so much. I have been blessed with 2 of the best Mother in Laws a girl could want they are both gone now but are such a great part of my life. Your mom help me to grow up and learn so much I was very young when I came into the Hulin family and she help guide me. She will always be with each one of you she love each of you so much. Mom's are like that that just stay with us all the time just talked to her and she will be there.

Dearest Lanny, Terry, Joanne and Ronnie,
Gosh, I was so sorry to hear about Helen but just knowing her and Don's love for each other and knowing they are together again, gives you such peace. I had a dream about her on the 17th and emailed my Aunt Barb (Barb Bowman). You know that Helen never forgot my birthday and always sent a card and she wrote me 2-3 times a year to tell me of their adventures or their camping trips with the family. I think the dream was her way of saying goodbye and to remember all the good times.....of which, there were many!
