I am glad to have known Hazel, glad I heard some interesting stories of her life and glad she was active until late in her life. Her long, active life was impart due to the dedicated, loving care from her granddaughter, Jill. A life well lived MiMi.

Dear sweet Hazel,she always stayed connected to me with her little notes in her Christmas cards. She was my mother's good friend. I remember they would always give each other permanents. Another memory was when she would loan me dresses for the high school proms. She was a member of Rebecca's and had some beautiful dresses. A few year's ago as I was driving through Tacoma, I stopped in to visit her. She was in her 90's then and was busy making apple pies. Fond, fond memories.......
I remember Hazel and Ing. Our family was on the corner of South J st and 34th.
