I will always remember Harry as a funloving guy who loved his family very much. His disabiliy never held him down for enjoying quality time with his family.##imported-begin##Velda Carter##imported-end##

My mother cared for Harry from time to time after a few home altercations.Harry and I did enjoy a few fishing trips to Chambers Creek during school hours of course.I went to UPS to watch Harry mix it up at a few boxing events..Lost touch with Harry for a time, then he & his wife Ivy came to our Harmon Park reunite two yrs, ago & he was very excided to see all of us.Visited him recently at the hospice home to say Goodby to a childhood dear buddy, Harry..SURE THERE GOOD FISHING IN HEAVEN HARRY!!##imported-begin##Vertin Koenen##imported-end##
I first met Harry when we moved from downtown Tacoma to 86th and Pacific in 1953. I remember Harry as always having a smile on his face, even after his unfortunate injury in the 80s. I'll never forget Harry riding his motor bike down to Ray and Gene's Tavern to see me and telling me "I'm all right".
I have always had a lot of respect for Harry and considered him a friend. I don't remember Harry starting any fights but I sure do remember him finishing many.
Harry and Ivy were one of the few couples I know who were married longer than Sharon and I. I'm sure Harry would agree that we must have married angels.
Along with my wife Sharon, we wish Ivy and the family all of our heartfelt best.
