Harry B. LewisJune 06, 1927 - July 24, 2003Harry passed with strength and dignity on Wednesday late morning with family and a devoted friend Mrs. Beverly Tucker.He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Harry and Margaret Lewis. He served in the US Army and graduated from the University of Washington. His career had many achievements owning and operating several businesses in Yelm and Olympia as well as a long Political Career in the House of Representatives and State Senate Republican floor leader. Harry always gave to others, more then to himself and made a lasting and unforgettable circle of great friends and always will be a great inspiration to us all. As someone once told us Â"Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing).He is much loved and missed by his brother Bob Lewis and family, James L. Lewis, Kimberly A. Lewis, Joshua S. Lewis, Justice R. Lewis, and Jana Borland.No services are planned, and at his request his remains will be scattered in a much Cherished and beautiful surrounding, by his close family and friends.In lieu of flowers and gifts Harry has always given to help education.
