What a flood of memories when we read about Harry's death. He was a valued partner in the legislature and I especially remember the Power fight in the 1961 session. We worked hard under Harry's leadership and held the fort for more than three days before the PUD's got to us. I thoroughly enjoyed Harry, whether at the Fly Open, the legislature, or working together on new ideas for the state. He was fun to be with and we all will miss his boisterous laugh and friendship.

We are saddened to learn of Harry's sudden passing. While working for Harry at Wood Fabricators, he became my friend and mentor as well as my boss. Mary and I will remember his strong character, his dynamic personality, his wit and the encouragement and guidance he gave to us. Harry Lewis was a dear friend to me and my family for many years, as a neighbor, a colleague in politics and business, and partner in golf. He was always there for us when we needed help or advice - and his delightful, authoritative laugh will be remembered with a smile.
