Celebrating the life of: HAROLD O. PHILLIPS
Born July 12, 1946 in Vallejo, California to Joseph and Ruby Lee Phillips. He was the 8th of 11 children.
He attended Peres Elementary, Roosevelt Jr. High, Richmond High School, Contra Costa College, later attended college in Oregon.
He retired from the State of Washington in July 2012 after 20+ years of service.
He lived in Lacey, Washington and was married to Loretta Phillips on Jan 20, 1984.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harold DeShawn Phillips, his parents, Ruby Lee and Joseph Phillips and brothers, Larry and Lonnie Phillips.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Phillips (Burein, Wa); Daughter, Dr. Nikita Phillips (Fort Worth Texas); two grandchildren, Daryl and Havonya; siblings Dorothy Riley (Oakland, Ca), Laura Spann (Vallejo, Ca), Alma Palmer (Chino Hills, Ca), Cloristine Taylor (Richmond, Ca) and Herbie Phillips (Stockton, Ca)
He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington
He served in the US Air Force from 1964-1968
