Harold Eugene Long Jr. 's Obituary
Harold Long, Jr., 65 passed away, after battling a long illness, on May 30, 2014. He has joined his wife of 26 years, Alta Jean.
Gene, as his friends and family knew him, was born in Mahomet, Illinois on October 27th 1949 and moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1955. He was retired from Tacoma City Light, working primarily as a line truck driver out of the Loveland station.
Gene loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his two Dachshund’s, Sophie and Winslow. He leaves behind his sister and best friend, Anita, and her husband Dean Hays. A special Thank You to John House and his wife Sue for always being there for him. You will always be a part of our family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 1:00pm, in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood.
