Harold Dummitt's Obituary
Harold was born July 2, 1924 in Bayard, NE. He died October 19, 2004 in Tacoma, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland (Pete) Dummitt and Nellie (Corbett), and brother Robert Dummitt. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy, daughters Becky Taylor, Robin Elie (Frank), Cindy Potter, sons William Dummitt (Carole), Danny Johnson and Mark Johnson (Sheila), sister Joanne Gibson (Dick) of Monett, MO, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harold was a proud U. S. Army veteran, having served for over 22 years, a 15 year member of the Eagles Aerie #3 and VFW Post #696, and a Chef at Johnny's on the Mall for 9 years. He will be missed, but his family is reassured knowing that he is at peace and in a better place. Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2004 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 23, 2004 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View.
