Glo and I met when both were re-engineering our careers way back in 1973 at Ft Steilacoom Community College. We dated a while and my career took me to Seattle. She started a job with Miraldi Welding and I started selling the bookeeping systems with Burroughs that she worked with (moved up to Seattle). Seeing the picture reminded me of her caring spirit, and gentle nature. It was a phase of life that led to great things for her, including salvation and a great marriage. It was such a joy knowing Gloria throughout the years that I was her pharmacist. She really taught me about kindess towards others even when she was going through personal tragedy. Lori, Tammy and I are sadden to hear your Mom passed away, Tammy has told me the stories you shared with her about your Mom. This is so hard to say good-bye to my dear friend. She will always be in my heart. I have so many good & fun memories of Gloria. She was a wonderful friend. I know she loved her family first and had a strong faith through all of her trials. I admired her for her strong convictions, which she never waivered from. She will have many jewels in her crown.

I had the pleasure of working with Gloria at two different companies. I see my friend Dale touched on her loyalty, so I will add the word "professional". She was one of the best in her field. When I left one company, she and Becky gave me a beautiful rose bush for my home. Today it produces the prettiest roses in the yard. I feel lucky to be able to have something that will remind me of her for many many years. I will always consider her a special and remembered friend.
