I lived next door to Gladys several years ago. I always loved talking to her when I would see her outside. I always enjoyed her sharing memories of her husband and other loved ones. She would often leave sweet little notes on my boyfriends truck along with some of her homemade cookies. She sure loved her pretty little red sports car and I loved seeing her drive it as well. The one thing that touched me the most was her love for animals. She and my cat "BC" where the best of friends. Gladys would walk every day and BC would always be right by her side for the entire walk. I have never seen a cat love someone so much. He would get her attention in the morning by scratching on her screen door. She would grab a handful of treats and sit on her porch with him and give him a little snack every day before their walk. She even made a special little bed for him on her back patio. My prayers go out to her family, she was loved very much by all of her neighbors. I will never forget her and I know without a doubt that anyone who was blessed enough to know her feel the same. Rest in peace my friend, you were truly one of a kind and I know heaven is a much brighter place with you in it.
