...this saddens me,she jus crossed my mind so i googled her name.......Gerry used to come to our house for years every sunday for breakfast......we enjoyed her spirit...... She was a great woman and she always was there to save a cat......i know your dancing in heaven lady.....with my mom.......i love you always....
To Groovy Nanny Geri- You have always had a special place in my heart and you will be missed. Our hour-long conversations on the phone always meant so much to me. Even though there were so many miles between us, we shared a closeness that I will always treasure. Love Always , Your Grandson, Calvin
Nanny Geri...I have the fondest memories of being a young boy when you'd come visit us in Hendersonville at Nanny's lake house. Climbing trees and "robbing" bird nests....I was so fascinated by different birds and their nests, how they were made and the eggs....different colors, shapes, and sizes. You bought me a book called "Birds of North America". We'd go fishing out on the Pontoon on Old Hickory Lake.... and having fried fish, pinto beans, fried taters and cornbread and a fresh tomato and onion! Yum!!! Your spunky spirit will missed by so many. I love you and cant imagine how wonderful your world must be now. Until we meet again.....I love you! ~ Your Great Grandson, Calvin Jr.
To the Clapper family, Jim and Bonnie Lovell want to send our love and prayer that God will surround you all with peace and love. It has been years but I remember taking care of Allen while she worked. Allen called me a tiger because, I was always after him and our son to stop running and shouting in the house. LOL Those were good memories for me but I'm not to sure it was for the boys.
Psalm 90:10 states that a normal life span is 70 years but if because of special mightiness 80 years. Ms. Clapper certainly lived a long life and I'm sure was dearly loved by her family. May you allow yourselves to be comforted by our Heavenly Father and the hope he gives through His word the Bible. Rev. 21:3,4.
