Dear Mrs. Turner, Dianne, Mike & family,
It was a priviledge to grow up on the corner of Harvard and Stanford. I have very fond memories of life in Fircrest. I remember "Mr. Turner" always out working in the yard and garden. The front yard literally was a putting green. He always had time to talk, and had a friendly hello. He was even "somewhat patient" with us when we'd continually knock the slats out of his fence playing soccer in the street.
With Mom, and now Jerry gone, it just isn't the old Harvard Avenue anymore, is it?
I'm very sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy. I hope to see you on Friday.
Your fellow Harvard Ave. kid,
