I am retired from Teaching and living in Kellogg,Idaho.

As another Tempo Glass alumni, I remember his great sense of humor, his uncanny ability to remember names and every backstreet and alley in Pierce County and his incomparable generosity. He became a lifelong friend and Godparent to my daughter, Brianne Janene. Gerry said "Money may not buy happiness but it can sure afford you the kind of misery you like best." Too true. GERRY WAS MORE THAN A CUSTOMER HE WAS OUR FRIEND.WHEN OUR SON CONSIDERED GOING TO SCHOOL IN ARIZONA I CALLED GERRY AND ASKED HIM, IF HE HAD ANY TROUBLES, CAR, MONEY,ETC. COULD HE CALL HIM EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. HE DID NOT HESITATE TO SAY YES. I KNEW I COULD COUNT ON HIM. ONCE GERRY CONSIDERED YOU A FRIEND IT WAS UNCONDITIONAL AND FOR LIFE.I WILL MISS HIM. I AM GLAD I GAVE HIM A HUG THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM.
