“GEORGE” Georgiana Isbell-Graham-Dunn-Wilson-Battle passed away comfortably at her home in Lakewood on Jan. 20th after a lengthy battle with cancer. George was born Sept. 20, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif., to Lt. Commander Harold Read Obituary
When I graduated from the Credit Specialist Class in May 1987 George walked me out the back door and took my hand and said "Oh I am so glad, now we can be friends". She changed my life for the better and I was truly blessed to have known her as instructor, mentor and mostly friend. Glitter on girlfriend!! Love Jeanne Dyer
Because of George, I have met and become friends with a number of people. Two of them stand out! Over these last several weeks, her dear friend Donna and her niece Barbara have been phenomenal support to George! She was blessed to have them. Thank you both for keeping all of us in the loop as much as you could!! George was special to so many and I know how difficult it was to take care of her and all of us as well. You did a wonderful job. I shall miss George so much, but I shall cherish those she shared and left with me.
I knew and loved George from Tacoma Credit Women and took her Credit Specialist classes at Clover Park. I drive by Clover Park every day on my way to work. Driving by last Wednesday, I was actually remembering the classes I took there and even more importantly, George and wishing I'd kept in touch. She was a great and wonderful woman. Prayers for her family.
Just to let everyone know my mother was also survived by her Daughter-in-Law Olivia "Liv" Wilson and her 2 Granddaughters Maisie Reagan Wilson and Tatum Eliza Wilson. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Feb 7th.
