Hugs. Big happy warm bear hugs. And laughter. George and Vivian laughing and happy at the world and themselves. To be around these two wonderful people meant learning the true meaning of a happy marriage. I will always be grateful God put you in my journey through life. I will forever remember George as the lovliest of gentle giants.##imported-begin##Jan Cook##imported-end##
Though we hadn't seen each other for many years, I stilled considered him to be my good friend. He and I made it our mission to disrupt SF&B's non-smoking rules with our cigars. I still have the empty 'Roi-Tan' boxes.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.##imported-begin##Ronald Raasch##imported-end##
Chuck and I both worked for George starting in 1977 at G.N. Wessel in Lakewood. Chuck continued to work for George until 1979. George served as the greatest mentor in the survey profession. He taught Chuck many things he'll never forget. Some of them simple things like making sure the maps are correct and some hard, like making sure the stones that you find in the woods are correct. He told Chuck the greatest research was never to stop looking. He always told Chuck the client always knows the property the best. He was the best boss anyone could ask for. We will sincerely miss him and his infinite wisdom.
We are sorry for your loss.##imported-begin##Chuck & Sherry Haviland##imported-end##
